JPY Money Transfer

JPY Money Transfer is a mobile app for transferring money from Japan to other countries.

  • Client: JPY, Inc. (http://jpy.asia)
  • Responsibility: Style guide creation, UI design, UX-related optimizations
  • Duration: ~3 months

WIREFRAMES & LOW-FIDELITY PROTOTYPE

The client provided basic architecture design of the app, so my work started from expanding on an existing framework. We used these wireframes to finalize all the pages needed for the app and built an interactive prototype for testing.

a Safe and Welcoming Look

JPY Inc. didn’t have a branding guideline at the time of the project, so we worked on a design language together. The client wanted the UI to convey a sense of safety, but with a modern and playful touch.

MOTION & DETAILS

I designed some detailed interactions in the app, like the splash screen animation and input box behaviors. These kind of smaller, animated prototypes shown below were built in Figma, so they can both be pre-recorded for presentation purposes or directly interacted with.
